My fascination with architecture began in childhood, inspired by a deep curiosity about history and the great civilizations that shaped our world. Exploring historic places and learning how architecture reflects culture and identity sparked a lifelong passion for the built environment. Those early experiences instilled in me the belief that meaningful architecture should respect the past while thoughtfully embracing the future.

Throughout my career, I have worked on a diverse range of projects—from modest residential homes to commercial offices, hotels, shopping mall and manufacturing facilities or mixed-use development—in the Philippines, Dubai, Qatar, and Canada. Each place has broadened my perspective on how different cultures define home, work, and community. Living and working in rapidly evolving cities such as Dubai and Qatar deepened my appreciation for sustainable urban development and reinforced the importance of designing spaces that are both functional and enduring.

My greatest inspiration comes not only from iconic landmarks but from the everyday places where people live, work, and connect. Whether it is a neighborhood café, a local library, or the adaptive reuse of an aging industrial building, I believe these spaces tell the most meaningful architectural stories. They shape our daily experiences, strengthen communities, and preserve the character of our cities.

Beyond professional practice, I enjoy mentoring emerging designers and sharing knowledge through occasional workshops and discussions on architecture, sustainability, and accessibility. I believe architecture should be inclusive and accessible—not reserved for a select few, but created for everyone who experiences and inhabits space. Good design has the power to improve lives, foster connection, and create lasting value for future generations.

When I'm not designing or exploring buildings, you'll often find me sketching urban landscapes, photographing architecture, hiking local trails, or supporting heritage preservation initiatives within my community. I live in Metro Vancouver with my wife, our two daughters, and our Maltese dog in a contemporary home nestled near the Fraser River and surrounded by hiking trails—an environment that continually reminds me of the balance between nature, community, and thoughtful design.
